Ultra wide-angle premium designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with full frame, this 15mm f/2 can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 22.5mm.

The relatively fast maximum aperture f/2 benefits astrophotography and low light applications.

The rectilinear design yields themes with minimal distortion to suit landscape and architectural applications.

Three extra low dispersion elements reduce chromatic aberrations and color edges for clarity and color neutrality. Two aspherical elements are also presented to limit spherical aberrations to improve sharpness.

Frog Eye Coating has been applied to repel both dust and moisture for added protection when working in inclement conditions.

The manual focus design allows you to work with subjects at a distance of 5.9" with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.

The manual aperture ring can be mechanically "clicked" for smooth, quiet rotation over the entire aperture range, making it ideal for video applications.

Despite its ultra-wide design, this lens can accept 72mm threaded filters on the front of the lens.
