24.5 mm* wide-angle zoom lens and 20x optical zoom
The lens ranges from a 24.5 mm wide-angle to a 490 mm telephoto with a 20x zoom. i.ZOOM achieves a 24x zoom with 4K resolution and a 32x zoom with FHD.

Versatile recording mode
Supports a high bit rate of 200 Mbps for 59.94p / 50p video recording with the HEVC codec (LongGOP / 10-bit 4:2:0 / MOV). The Super Slow-motion function supports 10-bit recording in FHD at 120/100 fps* and VFR 4K (UHD) from 2 to 60 fps** for highly creative video expression.

High-precision 4K AF
Face detection accurately captures subjects on-site without blurring or underexposure issues. Additionally, by adding color recognition, subject tracking is enhanced, uninterrupted, when the face moves sideways.
5-axis Hybrid O.I.S.+
In both UHD/FHD modes, in addition to optical image stabilization, electronic image stabilization detects and corrects handshakes in the 5-axis direction. The Ball O.I.S. system reduces friction in the drive section, especially improving small amplitude blur correction.
10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording
Records a 10-bit 4:2:2 color profile up to LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mbps) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mbps) with SD cards. Outputs 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p images via HDMI.
V-Log HLG/13 stops for HDR video production
The X2 is equipped with HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) shooting mode, one of the HDR-related standards. Additionally, it supports V-Log, which is also available on the Panasonic VARICAM cinema camera and LUMIX mirrorless cameras, providing 13 stops of latitude. When combined with a V-Log compatible camera, color grading provides a uniform image in post-production.
Full HD live streaming
HD streaming compatible with RTSP / RTP / RTMP / RTMPS allows direct connection and relay distribution for concerts, sports events, and news flashes to Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Wireless control from a tablet or smartphone
A Wi-Fi module is built-in, allowing for Wi-Fi connection of the body alone. Using a tablet or smartphone app HC ROP, wireless camera setup and lens control are also possible.
