HDR.
Capture the entire dynamic range of a scene quickly and surpass the natural capacity of the human eye through composite HDR images. With many levels of effect to choose from, the OM-5 can bracket between 3 and 5 images with different exposures. It even allows for processing four images together in selectable HDR modes.

Color Creator.
Unleash your creativity with the Color Creator feature that allows you to fully control the hues and saturation of any scene. Choose the part of the scene you want to highlight, from stunning oranges for a sunset to the lush greens of the jungle.

Artistic Filters.
Transform your images into works of art with the 16 different Artistic Filters available. From a classic black and white of old movies to a soft focus, among many other possibilities that you can check directly on the screen or in the viewfinder of your OM-5.

AF area types.
Starting from the need to focus on details for capturing snapshots of fast-moving animals, it has been decided to offer six different types of AF area to ensure that the perfect image is never missed. Whether you like the traditional single-area focus or prefer to create custom patterns for different purposes, there is an area type for you.

Pro Capture.
The OM-5 is your personal time machine. Photographing fleeting moments and capturing fast-moving scenes is possible with Pro Capture. Designed to ensure you never miss that precise moment you're looking for, Pro Capture continuously adds images to its memory buffer at a maximum speed of 30 frames per second and, with the press of a button, retains the last 14 frames after you have fully pressed the shutter. At that moment, you can simply go back like in a time machine to choose the perfect moment.
