Samyang Lens AF 85mm f / 1.4 for Sony E

Prepared for portrait, the Sony E-mount Samyang AF 85mm f / 1.4 is a short telephoto lens that is characterized by its fast maximum aperture of f / 1.4. The bright design offers great control over the depth of the fields, to isolate subjects through selective focus, and also excels in low light conditions. The optical design has four elements of high refractive index, which help to reduce the distortions and spherical distortions to achieve a great clarity and clarity. An extra low dispersion element is also included, which controls the fringes of colors and chromatic aberrations to obtain a high degree of clarity and color accuracy. The individual elements also feature an Ultra Multi-Coating, which supports flashes and phantom effect for greater contrast in strong lighting. As a complement to the optical design, there is a dual ultrasound linear motor, which offers fast and silent autofocusing performance. In addition, a rounded nine-leaf diaphragm contributes to the quality of pleasant bokeh.

Prime vertical length is designed for mirrorless cameras with full-frame Sony E mount, but can be used on APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 127.5 mm.
The very bright f / 1.4 maximum openings benefit work in low light conditions and offer great control over depth of field to isolate subjects and work with selective focus.
Four elements of high refractive index are used to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations for greater clarity and accurate representation.

An extra low dispersion element helps reduce color fringes and chromatic aberrations to achieve remarkable color clarity and precision.
Ultra Multi-Coating was applied to individual elements to reduce the brightness and phantom effect for higher contrast and a neutral color balance.

The dual linear ultrasonic motor and the internal focusing design provide a fast and silent autofocus. An AF / MF switch is also included to switch smoothly between focus modes.
