New Tamron All-in-One lens for Canon Full-Frame with Piezo Drive ultrasonic focusing engine for fast and quiet autofocus, image stabilization (VC) mechanism to reduce blur caused by camera vibrations and deliver sharper images even when photographing handheld cameras, moisture-resistant construction, superior image quality and an exceptionally compact and lightweight design.

Moisture-resistant construction helps prevent moisture from entering the target

VC (Vibration compensation)

VC (Vibration Compensation) is Tamron's patented image stabilization system, using three drive coils that electromagnetically activate a group of VC lenses that compensate for camera shake. Since the VC lens elements are held in position by only three ceramic ball bearings, movement is very smooth with little friction. even when shooting at a long distance or in low light, the image remains stable in the viewfinder and the tracking response is excellent.

PZD (Piezo Drive) for faster and quieter autofocus drive

The PZD (Plezo Drive) provides a considerably faster autofocus drive, allowing users to capture spontaneous movements in sharp images and continue shooting even when silent operation is required. The manual focusing system at all times allows precise focus adjustments to be made during autofocus without having to change the focus mode beforehand.

XR crystal (extra refractory index)

A special glass with an extremely high anti-break index in a high-power lens manufactured in a more compact form.

Circular Diaphragm

This circular diaphragm retains an almost circular shape even two levels below its maximum opening state enabling smooth transitions and a fantastic bokeh.
