Designed to balance the overall exposure within a high-contrast scene, Formatt-Hitech's 165 x 200 mm Soft Edge Graduated Neutral Density 1.2 filter is ideal for situations involving bright and dark areas, such as an open sky and a shaded close-up. half of the filter has 1.2 neutral density and the other half is transparent, with a smooth edge transition between the two that is ideal for use with medium and wide-angle lenses or when there is an irregular and wavy horizon. By reducing exposure in selective areas, the filter reduces the exposure to selective areas.
