LaCie's 2TB Porsche Design USB 3.0 Type-C Mobile Drive offers up to 2TB of space for data such as documents, videos, photos, music and more. This unit features a USB 3.0 Type-C interface and includes a USB 3.0 Type-C cable and a USB 3.0 Type-C cable to Type-A. The USB 3.0 Type-C reversible cable can be used if facing up or down, and the USB 3.0 Type-C to Type-A cable allows this disk to be used in systems equipped with USB Type-A.

This LaCie also features passive cooling and works with the bus power provided by its USB Type C interface, which means no external power is required. It supports Windows 7 and later and Mac OS X 10.5 and later, as well as free LaCie Backup Assistant software, LaCie Public-Private software for AES 256-bit encryption (via download), and Eco Mode software for energy savings.

USB Type-C and USB Type-A

The USB Type C cable can be inserted either upwards or upwards. For systems without USB Type-C, and USB Type-C to USB, an adapter cable is included.

Windows or Mac with USB 3.0

This disk can be used with most systems running Windows 7 and later or Mac OS X 10.5 and later.

Fast transfer speeds

The maximum theoretical transfer rate of USB 3.0 of 5 Gb/s helps ensure that you can drag and drop files and perform backups quickly.
