Illuminate any situation
The FL-900 R allows you to keep photographing in situations where with other flashes you would have to pack up and head home, thanks to its dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof exterior, just like its compatible cameras OM-D E-M1 Mark II, E-M1, E-M5 Mark II, E-M5, and all M.ZUIKO PRO series lenses. This high-intensity flash combines the power of the camera's built-in processor (TruePic) and TTL synchronization technology to achieve optimal lighting. It covers the entire angle of view of focal length lenses from 12 mm-100 mm and lenses from 7 mm-10 mm when using its wide panel.

Video enthusiasts will love the 100 Lux LED Lighting for Video feature. It can be set to Auto or Manual mode and allows adjustments in 1 EV steps, from maximum power down to 1/32.

Excellent versatility with different modes and wireless options
The compact and lightweight Olympus FL-900 R flash offers different operating options in wireless mode. It can be used in high-intensity multi-flash photography through wireless control. This unit can be attached to the camera's hot shoe and used as a master flash using the commander function.

It can be used as a master or slave flash, and with its four channels, it is compatible with up to four groups. This means that up to four groups of flashes can be controlled from the camera. In this way, you can make a group fire or not and set the flash output compensation, among other settings.

As can be expected from a high-performance flash, its head can rotate (180°/180°) and tilt (90°). The FL-900 R not only syncs with High-Resolution Shooting and Focus Bracketing, but it is also compatible with different Olympus shooting modes to enjoy multiple photographic expression possibilities.

High-intensity flash with a maximum guide number of 58
The high-intensity flash FL-900R features a guide number of 58 meters (at ISO 100 and a focal distance of 100 mm) and covers a wide focal range with an electronic zoom head.
The zoom points are aligned with the ZUIKO PRO objectives, covering angles in a range of 7-100 mm.

High-speed burst shooting
When used with the OM-D E-M1 Mark II camera, the FL-900R offers a spectacular burst shooting capability. The flash fires continuously at 10 fps for about 100 shots at a speed of 1/128 or 30 shots at 1/32. Its modern charge circuits allow the FL-900R to recycle in just 2.5 seconds during burst shooting, to achieve the desired image. An enhanced FP mode with an extended range allows shooting beyond the synchronized speed limit of the E-M1 Mark II without fear of overexposure.

Multiflash mode
This function allows capturing motion in photos by firing the flash multiple times during a single exposure, providing greater creative control.

High-quality Olympus functions
The FL-900R is also compatible with Olympus features such as High-Resolution Shooting, Focus Bracketing, and Focus Stacking. Since the FL-900R recycles so quickly, shorter shooting intervals are allowed with these functions.

Multiple flash, wireless
With the RC (remote control) system, you will have access to a wide range of wireless flash options. Use the FL-900R as a master flash to trigger other compatible RC flash units, as a slave flash in one of four independently controlled groups, or as a commander flash using the included infrared filter.
With four channels available, the RC Mode does not disturb other photographers, allowing you to use it comfortably at events where other photographers are working nearby.

Built-in video light
The 1.5W LED light incorporated in the FL-900R is a very useful tool both as a continuous light source for recording videos and when used as a focus assistant for photography. Its one-touch on/off control allows you to quickly access a power of 100 lux (at 1 m) in low-light situations.
