AERODYNAMIC AND EVOLUTIONAL DESIGN The carbon fibre arms give you the strength to maneuver freely in the air, and at the touch of a button they rise out of the camera's field of vision. As a result you get an unobstructed 360 view⁰ with the freedom to shoot in all directions regardless of which direction you are flying in.

ROTOR DESIGN The all-new 33-centimetre, quick-release rotors have been built with DJI's unique "Z-Blade" design. They have been reinforced with a new carbon fibre composite material to ensure excellent performance with greater stability.

Pioneering DJI brushless motors
are now the standard in the multirotor industry. But Inspire 1 takes brushless motors to the next level of development by integrating curved magnets that fit seamlessly around the edge of each motor. Although much more difficult to produce, the magnets eliminate gaps in the air circulation within the motor, greatly increasing its efficiency.

SINGLE CABLE DESIGN Several copper wires have been replaced by a single, dense filament. By reducing the wasted space between the wires, it has been possible to increase the amount of copper in each motor, achieving more power and less resistance. A centrifugal pump increases the airflow within the clean, dense copper coils dissipating heat much faster while greatly increasing motor life.

NEW SPECIFICATIONS
Revolutionary sine wave Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC) replace traditional square wave drive ESCs, redefining the entire propulsion system. The patented ESC algorithm has been tuned and customized specifically for Inspire 1, with new features such as closed loop torque control and distinct functional redundancy to offer the highest efficiency and reliability./p>

INTELLIGENT ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM A fully integrated smart battery powers Inspire 1 and allows it to be operated almost automatically. When in flight, your remaining battery is displayed in real time allowing you to know how much more you can fly. Advanced algorithms calculate the distance to your aircraft and estimate the remaining time to return to your position, letting you know when it's time to bring your Inspire 1 back. The battery informs you of the voltage of each cell, the total charges and discharges made and the general state of the battery. All this tells you how much you can expect from each cell.

POSITIONING
While flying, the position of your Inspire 1 is constantly recorded and updated using the intelligent high endurance system GLONASS+GPS. This dual positioning system allows for greater accuracy and faster connection to satellites, allowing you to see where the aircraft is on a live map and giving it a fixed floating point when you release the controls.

CONTROL CONTROL
This is the "brain" of the entire system, receiving thousands of bits of information per second and translating that information into action as you fly. The Main Control Command tells every part of your Inspire 1 what to do, calculates environmental conditions in real time and makes sure the aircraft responds to your orders instantly.

IMU
Keeping your Inspire 1 automatically stable and constant during flight may seem simple, as the advanced DJI Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) takes care of everything. The IMU incorporates both a 6-axis gyroscope and an accelerometer to monitor even the tiniest changes in tilt and movement, allowing the aircraft to compensate and adjust immediately, maintaining its position at all times.

FALL TEST
All these functions combine to put your Inspire 1 on autopilot when needed. If the battery is running low or the connection to the remote control is lost, the Inspire 1 uses its positioning system and intelligent flight technology to return to your position.

You
can take off and land with the touch of a button and keep your Inspire 1 floating fixed indoors or when there is no connection to GPS satellites thanks to the new DJI Visual Positioning System.

COMBINATION OF VISUAL INFORMATION AND SONAR WAVES
DJI designed the Visual Positioning System from scratch, customizing it to meet the rigorous requirements that allow it to adapt to any of our aerial platforms that need to maintain the position
This system combines visual information and sonar waves in a single unit, detecting both the variation of patterns on the ground and the current altitude. With this information, your Inspire 1 can float static in place and automatically raise or lower the arms at the time you want to take off or land.

THE CHIP OF THE CPU
The sonar and visual information are only part of the fully integrated system: processing this information is the task of a specific CPU chip. This chip receives the information received by the sensors in real time, and is intelligent enough to distinguish between the patterns that identify objects or the ground. All this information is sent to the control command of your Inspire 1, which after processing transmits it to the entire aircraft.

When you fly with a friend, the Main Command steers the aircraft while the Secondary Command moves the stabilizer and the camera direction. Both commands receive live data and video from Inspire 1, but only the Main Command sends commands to the aircraft.
