Fujifilm X-E3 Digital Camera Without Mirror with 23mm f / 2 Lens (Silver)

24.3MP APS-C X-Trans Sensor CMOS III

Utilizing Fujifilm's unique, random pixel series, the 24.3MP APS-C CMOS III XS sensor offers a high degree of image quality and sharpness due to the omission of a low-pass optical filter. Compared to conventional pixel patterns, the X-Trans design more closely mimics the organic nature of the film to produce nuanced colors and smooth tonal transitions, while reducing moire and aliasing.

X-Processor Pro

In addition to benefiting from low-light performance with a sensitivity range expandable to ISO 51200, the X-Processor Pro also contributes to fast performance throughout the camera system, including a start time of 0.4 seconds, a 0.05 second delay time, 0.25 second interval time shots, and a continuous shooting rate of 14 fps when working with an electronic shutter, or 8 fps with a mechanical shutter.

UHD 4K and Full HD video

The X-E3 supports both UHD 4K / 30p recording and Full HD 1080 / 60p video resolutions. Movie simulation modes can be used during recording to give a different look to images, and video can also be sent via HDMI to an external recorder or monitor, and a microphone is included to work with an external microphone.

Body Design and Wireless Connectivity

  • The 3.04m rear-point LCD touch screen allows family operation, focus point selection and menu navigation.

  • The 2.36-meter high resolution electronic viewfinder allows bright, clear eye monitoring with a frame rate of 54.54 fps for smooth monitoring in a wide range of lighting conditions.

  • A dedicated focus lever provides faster, more intuitive control over the selection of specific focus points during shooting.

  • Dedicated shutter speed and exposure compensation mark for direct and intuitive control of exposure settings.

  • The physical exposure compensation dial now has a C position to allow for an extended compensation range when working with the control quadrants.

  • An external shoe mount flash EF-X8 is included to provide additional illumination when working in low light conditions. The flash has a guide number of 26.2' at ISO 100.

  • Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow direct exchange of wireless files, as well as remote control of the camera from a paired mobile device.

91-point autofocus system

Using contrast and phase detection methods, the hybrid autofocus system employs 91 total points, which can be divided into 325 total areas for a high degree of focusing accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions. Approximately 50% side-to-side and 75% top-to-bottom of the frame is covered by phase detection points to provide fast AF performance to suit working with moving subjects.

When working with autofocus, you can choose between single-shot AF-S mode or continuous AF-C mode, and each can be used in combination with the Single Point AF, Zone AF, or Wide-Tracking/Tracking AF settings. In addition, the Custom AF-C Settings allow you to choose from five AF-C presets depending on how the subject moves and the AF algorithm has been optimized to improve subject tracking and overall accuracy.

Film Simulation and Grain Effect Modes

Taking advantage of Fujifilm's long history in traditional film-based photography, the X-E3 integrates several film simulation modes, which can be used for photos or videos, to mimic the appearance of some of Fujifilm's classic film types. a refined Classic Chrome mode is designed to provide muted tones and deep color reproduction, similar to that of a dated slide film. pulling on its most contemporary line of transparency films, Provia offers natural-looking tones for everyday shooting, Velvia produces a more nuanced tone for everyday shooting, and a more contemporary line of transparency films.

In addition to simulating specific types of films, a grain effect mode is also available to replicate the look of old film photos with an organic textured look, which is especially noticeable when printing.

Lens XF 23mm f / 2 R WR

The included XF 23mm f / 2 R WR lens is a compact, lightweight 35mm wide-angle prime equivalent that adapts well to general shooting applications. its optical design incorporates two aspherical elements, which help reduce spherical aberrations and distortion for high sharpness and clarity. the lens also features an internal focusing design and a scaling AF motor for fast, quiet autofocus performance and the physical design of the lens is weather-resistant for working in harsh environmental conditions.

Other camera functions

  • The advanced SR Auto mode can be used for fully automatic shooting with scene recognition to allow live shooting in a variety of settings.

  • Multi-exposure mode allows you to shoot two consecutive overlapping frames and the first frame will be displayed on the rear LCD to assist in aligning the second exposure.

  • The 180° panoramas on the camera can be photographed by simply sliding the camera over the scene.

  • Advanced filters: toy camera, dynamic tone, miniature, high key, soft focus, pop color, low key and partial color (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple).
